The one photo of the Jenson Button S600 engine shows what appears to be a late Mk 1 S800 engine, between engine numbers 1006743 and 1007850. Note ribbed cylinder head cover, spark plug compartment cover and carburetors. If it's not an early S800 engine, it must be a later engine swap, clearly not the way it came from the factory. Ordinarily, a collector car is seriously devalued without its original ("matching numbers") engine. In this case, the opposite seems to be true.
Jenson made a tidy profit, unless it all went to commissions and the taxman. He paid EUR27,600, approx. US$42,500, and sold for GBP42,700, approx. US$63,800. It was driven 432 miles between the two auctions.
