Olá!, eu estou muito feliz encontrar este fórum. Eu estou transportando-me a Lisboa dentro de um mês dos EUA. Eu estou interessado em motocicletas do vintage, e espero encontrar os amigos em Lisboa que são igualmente entusiastas. Eu sou conhecido em outros fóruns como o " snowbeard" (barba da neve) porque eu igualmente amo esquiar.

Eu desculpo-me mim atualmente não falo o português, e o am usando o babelfish para traduzir minhas mensagens. Eu estou tentando, e estou começ melhor na leitura pelo menos.

Eu possuo atualmente uns 1957 BSA A10, uns 1960 BSA Rocket super, e um Suzuki 1981 GS650. Eu terei que deixar estes no armazenamento, mas a esperança encontrar uma motocicleta nova do vintage quando eu chego em Portugal.



Hello, I am very happy to find this forum. I am moving to Lisbon in the next month from the USA. I am very interested in vintage motorcycles and hope to find friends who are also enthusiasts. I am known on other forums as "snowbeard" because I also love to ski.

I apologize I currently do not speak Portuguese, and am using babelfish to translate my messages. I am trying, and getting better at reading at least.

I currently own a 1957 BSA A10, a 1960 BSA Super Rocket, and a 1981 Suzuki GS650. I will have to leave these in storage, but I hope to find a new vintage motorcycle when I get to Portugal.

este é 1957 o Scrambler do Spitfire, 650cc, pre-unidade A10. foi vendido original uma bicicleta da sujeira! mas foi feito a estrada digna antes que eu a começ.

this is the 1957 Spitfire Scrambler, 650cc, pre-unit A10. it was originally sold a dirt bike! but has been made road worthy before I got it.


este é meu Suzuki, na maior parte um GS650G com um L tanque, tubulações diferentes, L pára-choque, assento recuperado, e alguma pintura. esta era minha primeira motocicleta nunca em 28 e foi uma grande bicicleta.

this is my Suzuki, mostly a GS650G with an L tank, different pipes, L fender, recovered seat, and some paint. this was my first motorcycle ever at 28 and has been a great bike.

Eu igualmente tenho este zangão real de 1961 Enfield, mas somente para um par mais semanas, I' a VE vendeu-o a um amigo em New York e enviá-lo-á logo

I also have this 1961 Royal Enfield Hornet, but only for a couple more weeks, I've sold it to a friend in New York and will ship it soon

Hello Nathan,you have some beautiful machines in there.You can find some of those bikes here in Portugal,but the prices are a bit high,comparing to others.I also have some motorcycles,but just 50 cc,not big engines like you have.Hope to read more news about your bikes and you.

Hi Nate, welcome to the Forum and, eventually, Portugal... I gather from your proposed travel dates you will be here beggining September, if so, you must start by going to the Moto Clube Sintra classic gathering - off my head, it's the W/end 5 6th September and Sintra is just west of Lisbon some 20 miles Moto Clube de Sintra In just one sitting you'll find: lots of classic bikes/friends/ a endless source of knowledge about all sorts of classics, mainly small cc italians and large cc brits, but all else... abova all, it gathers 200 or so immaculately restored bikes in a promenade through the local country that ends in a big celebration lunch and there's also a parts market, etc....

yes, it will be under Calendário (calendar) which lists up-ncoming events- but of course the whole site is somewhat biased towards cars rathyer than motorbikes...

Daniel, você tem algumas motocicletas muito agradáveis também, você fêz as restaurações? Eu observei muitos 50 e bicicletas de 125 centímetros cúbicos para a venda, como fazem em Lisboa, são os montes lentos?
